It is only a matter of context and direction. The problem might be, what's the context and where is the direction.

Maybe the introspection that you're experiencing now is somehow part of what you're supposed to be doing. Yet I think you are missing one important thing. Your self.

Yes, you can write this blog, it is one aspect or element of your being and it shows a great deal of your character in terms of depth, compassion, strength and wisdom. Yet it is missing one thing.

You're a producer. You have a vast amount of valuable knowledge picked up from years of experience on the job. Have you not considered that maybe you knowledge is actually worth something? That there is a sort of university inside your mind that someone, somewhere - anywhere - on this globe - might be willing to pay some money towards to contribute towards helping you make a living by teaching what you know?

I think that you have just the right temperament to do just that. You have the time and the energy it seems to be able to put together a blog, where you can devise your own syllabus, decide how you think the gaps of practical and maybe even theoretical knowledge you have come to know as your trade and your skill might be freely made available to budding producers and anyone else interested in this business, as a resource of value. A niche where there might not be one already or if there is some competition, your own edge that will give others the edge to learn from your mastery.

So setting up your blog, providing links to resources you think are valuable, maybe signing up for an Amazon affiliate marketing scheme, or perhaps there are other revenue streams you can find, and then just maybe, as a budding entrepreneur, you can create your own Twitter name, a Facebook page and then get people to come and have a look, share, interact ... learn and teach ... teach and learn ... maybe this won't pay the bills ever ... maybe you just set something up for a community to take hold of. I don't know, but somehow this all makes sense to me.

So what do you think?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
